Product Description

The horizontal pellet cooler is an essential innovation for small to medium-sized feed mills, expertly designed for effectively cooling pellet feed during the crucial pelleting process. It transforms the freshly pelleted feed, which begins at a steaming 80-90°C with a moisture content of 17-18%, down to a temperature slightly elevated above room temperature, while reducing moisture content to an ideal 12-13%. This cooling step is vital for maintaining feed quality and ensuring optimal storage conditions.

The Feed Pellet Cooler is an advanced solution for cooling both Animal Feed and Wood Pellets during the pelleting phase, ensuring high-quality results. It efficiently reduces the pellet temperature from 70°C-90°C to just 3°C~5°C above ambient temperature, thus preserving the pellet's integrity and reducing moisture to safe levels. This not only fortifies the pellet's structural firmness but also minimizes the risk of spoilage, facilitating secure transportation and prolonged storage of pellet feed.
 

Feed Pellet Feature:

1) The counter flow pellet cooler is ingeniously crafted to cool pellets that possess both high temperature and moisture content. Through a unique cooling mechanism,
the system ensures hot air interacts with hot pellets, and cool air interacts with cooled pellets. This strategic method prevents surface cracks due to abrupt cooling, commonly caused by direct contact between cool air and hot pellets. With an airlock system for feeding and an expanded air inlet space, this design achieves superior cooling results.

2) The slide reciprocating discharger guarantees smooth, dependable discharging with minimal residue, enhancing operational efficiency.

3) The system boasts low power consumption and user-friendly operation, making it an economical choice for feed mills.

4) Post-cooling, the pellet temperature is efficiently reduced to within 3-5ºC of the ambient temperature, ensuring quality preservation.
