Introducing the horizontal pellet cooler, a versatile solution primarily designed for the efficient cooling of pellet feed within the pelleting section of small to medium-sized feed mills. This innovative machinery can transform pelleted feed with an initial temperature of up to 80-90°C and a moisture level of 17-18%, cooling it to a temperature marginally above room level, while successfully reducing moisture content to an optimal 12-13%.

The Feed Pellet Cooler is a state-of-the-art system engineered for the cooling of animal feed and wood pellets during the pelleting process. This remarkable cooler efficiently reduces the temperature of pellets, initially between 70°C-90°C, to a level just 3°C~5°C above ambient, while achieving a safe moisture content. By doing so, it enhances pellet integrity and prevents mold, ensuring pellets remain in top condition for both transportation and storage.
 

Feed Pellet Features:

1) This system employs a counter-flow pellet cooler design, specifically tailored to manage pellets with elevated temperature and moisture, utilizing hot air.
By allowing hot air to contact hot pellets and cool air to engage with cool pellets, it effectively prevents surface cracking from abrupt temperature shifts. Additionally, the airlock feeding mechanism and larger air inlet space contribute to superior cooling performance.

2) The slide reciprocating discharger ensures smooth, reliable discharging with minimal residue.

3) Designed for low power consumption and ease of operation.

4) Post-cooling, pellet temperatures are controlled to be less than 3-5ºC above the ambient temperature.

Strategically engineered, there is a precise angle maintained between the rotary drum sieve and the ground, optimizing efficiency.

Encased within closed steel, the exterior of the sieve is expertly covered to significantly diminish noise pollution, ensuring a quieter operational environment.

Empowered by an adjustable speed system, the drum sieve rotates at a meticulously controlled speed; during this rotation, pellets are adeptly separated and cooled from top to bottom.

With precision, the fine powder is expertly discharged from the front of the drum sieve, while the high-quality pellets are efficiently released from the back.
