Product Description

The horizontal pellet cooler is a pivotal component designed specifically for cooling pellet feed within the pelleting section of small to medium-sized feed mills. It expertly reduces the temperature of the pelleted feed, which can initially reach up to 80-90°C with a moisture content of 17-18%. This innovative cooler efficiently brings the feed down to a temperature just above ambient, while reducing moisture content to an optimal 12-13%.

The Feed Pellet Cooler is a specialized machine utilized for the critical cooling of both Animal Feed and Wood Pellets during the pelleting process. It effectively cools pellets from the pellet mill, reducing temperatures from 70°C-90°C to a level only 3°C~5°C above ambient temperature. This process securely lowers the moisture content, enhancing pellet firmness and preventing mold, which is crucial for the safe transportation and storage of pellet feed.
 

Feed Pellet Feature Highlights:

1) The counter flow pellet cooler technology is employed to efficiently cool pellets that have elevated temperature and moisture levels. The innovative process involves hot air engaging with hot pellets and cool air engaging with cool pellets.
This method prevents surface cracks from sudden cooling by avoiding direct contact between cool air and hot pellets. Additionally, the use of an airlock for feeding and a larger air inlet space enhances the cooling performance significantly.

2) The slide reciprocating discharger ensures smooth, consistent discharging with minimal residue, enhancing operational efficiency.

3) This system is designed to be energy-efficient with low power consumption and is user-friendly, ensuring easy operation.

4) Post-cooling, the pellet temperature is meticulously reduced to be less than 3-5ºC above the ambient temperature, ensuring optimal quality.
