Product Description

The horizontal pellet cooler stands as an indispensable asset in the pelleting section of small to medium-sized feed mills. Crafted to perfection, this cooler efficiently dissipates the heat from pelleted feed, which initially can reach a scorching 80-90°C with a moisture level of 17-18%. It meticulously reduces the feed's temperature to a state slightly above ambient, while diminishing moisture to an optimal 12-13%, ensuring prime quality and stability of the pelleted feed.

The Feed Pellet Cooler is a crucial component in the pelleting section for cooling both Animal Feed and Wood Pellets. It expertly manages to cool the pellets emerging from the pellet mill, which have temperatures ranging from 70°C to 90°C, to a level only 3°C~5°C above the ambient temperature. This advanced cooling method not only stabilizes moisture content to safe levels but also enhances the structural integrity of the pellets, preventing mold formation. This preservation is vital for the efficient transportation and storage of nutritious pellet feed.
 

Feed Pellet Feature:

1) The counter flow pellet cooler technology is ingeniously employed to gently cool down pellets that are high in temperature and moisture. Hot air
engages with hot pellets while cool air interacts with cool pellets, effectively avoiding surface cracking that can occur with sudden cooling. This innovative feature prevents direct contact between cool air and hot pellets, ensuring a smooth cooling process. The incorporation of an airlock for feeding, alongside a spacious air inlet, significantly enhances cooling efficiency.

2) The slide reciprocating discharger guarantees seamless and reliable pellet discharge with minimal residue, ensuring consistent performance.

3) Designed for low power consumption, the system offers ease of operation, making it a user-friendly choice for operators.

4) After the cooling process, the pellet temperature is effectively reduced to less than 3-5ºC above ambient temperature, ensuring optimal cooling results.
