Product Description

The horizontal pellet cooler stands as an integral component in the pelleting section of small and medium-sized feed mills, specifically designed for optimal pellet feed cooling. Once the pelleted feed reaches a significant temperature of up to 80-90°C with a moisture content of 17-18%, this cooler adeptly reduces the heat from pelleting to levels slightly above room temperature. Additionally, it effectively decreases the moisture content to a stable 12-13%, ensuring the quality and longevity of the feed.

The Feed Pellet Cooler is an essential tool for the cooling of Animal Feed and Wood Pellets within the pelleting section. It expertly reduces the temperature of pellets emerging from the pellet mill, initially ranging from 70°C to 90°C, down to just 3°C~5°C above the ambient temperature. This process not only ensures a safe moisture content but also greatly enhances pellet firmness, effectively preventing mold growth. Such improvements are crucial for the transportation and storage of pellet feed, assuring it remains in prime condition.
 

Feed Pellet Feature:

1) The counter flow pellet cooler is ingeniously designed to manage the cooling of pellets with elevated temperature and moisture. Utilizing a method where hot air meets hot pellets and cool air interacts with cool pellets,
ensures that sudden cooling, which might cause pellet surface cracking, is minimized. This innovative approach, combined with the use of an airlock for consistent feeding and a larger air inlet space, culminates in superior cooling effects.

2) The slide reciprocating discharger provides smooth and reliable discharging with minimal residue, ensuring efficient operations.

3) Characterized by its low power consumption and user-friendly operation, this cooler is designed for ease of use.

4) Post-cooling, the pellet temperature is maintained at a margin of less than 3-5ºC above the ambient temperature, ensuring ideal conditions for immediate use or storage.
