Product Description

The horizontal pellet cooler stands as an essential powerhouse in the pelleting section of small to medium-sized feed mills, specifically engineered for the effective cooling of pellet feed. Seamlessly transforming the freshly pelleted feed, which can reach scorching temperatures of 80-90°C with a moisture content of 17-18%, this cooler masterfully reduces the temperature to a level just above room temperature and curtails the moisture content to an optimal 12-13%.

The Feed Pellet Cooler serves as a pivotal component for the cooling of Animal Feed and Wood Pellets within the pelleting domain. It ingeniously cools pellets emanating from the pellet mill, initially at a temperature of 70°C-90°C, bringing them down to just 3°C~5°C above the ambient temperature, while expertly reducing them to a safe moisture content. This cooling process not only fortifies the firmness of the pellets but also provides a safeguard against mold growth, enhancing the quality of pellet feed for transportation and storage.
 

Feed Pellet Feature:

1) The advanced counter flow pellet cooler is utilized to efficiently cool the high-temperature, high-moisture pellets. As hot air meets hot pellets and cool air meets cool pellets, it meticulously prevents surface cracks due to abrupt temperature changes caused by direct contact between cool air and hot pellets.
Simultaneously, an airlock system is employed for feeding, with an enlarged air inlet space to achieve superior cooling effects.

2) The slide reciprocating discharger is engineered for smooth, reliable discharging with minimal residue.

3) This machine boasts low power consumption along with effortless operation, ensuring efficiency at its core.

4) After cooling, the pellet temperature is maintained to be less than 3-5ºC above ambient temperature, ensuring optimal storage conditions.
