The innovative horizontal pellet cooler is expertly designed for the cooling of pellet feed within the pelleting section of small to medium-sized feed mills. Designed to handle pelleted feed with temperatures soaring to 80-90°C and moisture levels of 17-18%, this cooler effectively reduces the temperature to just above room level and brings moisture down to a stable 12-13%.

The Feed Pellet Cooler is essential for the cooling of both Animal Feed and Wood Pellets during the crucial pelleting process. It expertly reduces the temperature of pellets, fresh from the pellet mill, from a high 70°C-90°C to a manageable 3°C~5°C above the ambient temperature, achieving a safe moisture content. This cooling process not only enhances pellet integrity but also prevents mold growth, ensuring safe and efficient transport and storage of pellet feed.
 

Key Features of the Feed Pellet:

1) Employing the counter flow pellet cooler technology, this system effectively cools high-temperature, moist pellets. The process involves: Hot air engages hot pellets, and cool air engages cool pellets. This prevents sudden surface cracking caused by direct contact between cool air and hot pellets.
Moreover, the airlock system facilitates feeding, with an enlarged air inlet space ensuring superior cooling effects.

2) The slide reciprocating discharger ensures smooth, reliable discharging with minimal residue.

3) Enjoy low power consumption and easy operation with this efficient system.

4) After cooling, pellet temperatures remain within 3-5ºC above ambient temperature, ensuring optimal conditions.

This innovative pellet cooler is designed on the foundation of the advanced drum of rotary sieve technology, which ingeniously combines the drum sieve with a robust frame.

The rotary drum sieve is thoughtfully inclined at a precise angle to the ground, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Encased in a closed steel cover, the sieve system effectively minimizes noise pollution, creating a quieter operation environment.

Equipped with an adjustable speed system, the drum sieve rotates at a meticulously controlled pace; this process allows pellets to be evenly separated and thoroughly cooled from top to bottom as they traverse the rotating drum sieve.

With an efficient discharge system, fine powder exits seamlessly from the front of the drum sieve, while only the high-quality pellets are channeled out from the rear, ensuring premium output.
