Introducing the Horizontal Pellet Cooler: This essential equipment is primarily designed for efficiently cooling pellet feed during the pelleting stage at small to medium-sized feed mills. With the ability to take freshly pelleted feed, which starts at a temperature between 80-90°C and a moisture content of 17-18%, this cooler masterfully reduces the temperature to just above room level while decreasing moisture content to a stable 12-13%. This ensures the feed is ready for further handling and storage.

The Feed Pellet Cooler represents a cornerstone in the cooling of Animal Feed and Wood Pellets in the pelleting stage. It adeptly reduces the temperature of pellets emerging from the pellet mill, which can be as high as 70°C-90°C, to just 3°C~5°C above the surrounding ambient temperature. This cooling process not only ensures the pellets achieve a safe moisture content but also enhances their firmness, significantly reducing the risk of mold. This is an advantage for both the transportation and prolonged storage of pellet feed.
 

Features of the Feed Pellet Cooler:

1) The innovative counter flow pellet cooler method is employed to adeptly cool pellets that possess both high temperature and moisture. The design ensures that hot air interacts with hot pellets, while cool air engages with cool pellets, thereby preventing surface cracking caused by abrupt cooling when cool air and hot pellets come into direct contact.
The cooler's design boasts an airlock mechanism for seamless feeding and an enlarged air inlet space, which significantly enhances the cooling effect.

2) The slide reciprocating discharger ensures smooth, reliable discharging with minimal residue.

3) Experience low power consumption coupled with effortless operation.

4) Post-cooling, the pellet temperature is consistently maintained at less than 3-5ºC above ambient temperature, ensuring optimal conditions for subsequent use.

Encased in a protective layer of closed steel, the outside of the sieve is designed to significantly minimize noise pollution, ensuring a quieter operation.

With an advanced adjustable speed system, the drum sieve rotates at an optimal speed, allowing pellets to be meticulously separated and efficiently cooled as they move from the top to the bottom of the rotating drum sieve.

Ingeniously designed for efficiency, fine powder is expertly discharged from the front end of the drum sieve, while high-quality pellets are seamlessly released from the back, ensuring superior output.
